It’s the first book in the series, and amazingly, the sequel again is a New York Times best-selling novel.

Iron Flame by Rebecca Yarros

Iron Flame

Iron Flames by Rebecca Yarros is the second book of the Fourth Wing series, and this makes Rebecca Yarros a great author to prove that she could write novels that could hold consecutive positions in the list of New York Times best-selling books of 2024. As we know, the sequel continues from where the first book ends. This one is no different from the first novel, with so much Mystery and fantasy served in it. Rebecca Yarros literally proved her legacy here.

The Heaven and Earth Grocery Store by James McBride

The Heaven and Earth Grocery Store by James McBride is a dark, humorous novel that uses neighborhood and community as the power. The book is about a skeleton that’s being found in a well, and nobody knows anything about it.

Whose skeleton is it? How it got there? Was anyone murdered? This book is a dark investigative novel that has become one of the most favorite books of 2023 and will continue to do so until 2024. It is one of the most complex books to understand and articulate the flow of characters, but it is worth the read.

First Lie Wins by Ashley Elston

First Lie Wins by Ashley Elston

The First Lie Wins by Ashley Elston is the next novel in our list of New York Times best sellers. The novel comes under the genre of Mystery and thriller. It’s about secret identities and missions and much more. Critics say that it has all the elements someone could think of when we say thriller and that it’s worth it. This novel is about a girl who has a secret identity assigned by Mr. Smith, an unknown secret boss who orders secret missions.

The girl knows her boos and her target. The only thing that she needs to be told is her job. What she should do or how she should do is all she needs to hear to start her work. It’s such a hooking and fast paced novel that could attract any readers to give it a try.

Killers of the Flower Moon by David Grann

The Killers of the Flower Moon by David Grann is one of the most-rated nonfiction books in the thriller and mystery genre. Even though the novel is nonfiction and true crime, it gives a strong essence of fiction and suspense.

The narrative has got true potential which makes barely any difference between fiction and nonfiction. David Grann is one of the most commanding and narrative authors of our era, and his books definitely deserve to be on this list all the time.

The book is about the consecutive murders of the Osage family and the Mystery revolving around the murders. A newly made FBI team and our lead male character. They both set up on this mission to find out the Mystery behind the plot of this novel.

Ice Breaker by Hannah Grace

Ice Breaker by Hannah Grace

Their love and adorable scenes during this forced proximity are such a feast for rom-com lovers. It’s one of the most adorable love stories and people would like it more in the upcoming years.

The Body keeps the score by Bessel Van Der Kolk

The Body Keeps the Score by Bessel Van Der Kolk is one of the most effective self-help books ever written. The author, Mr. Besseln Van Der Kolk, is an expert in trauma-related studies and treatments.

This whole book is written with the intention of addressing trauma the right way and navigating through life along with that. The book explains how both physical and mental health would go crazy after being traumatized. It not only provides theory but also gives real-life stats of how people are affected mentally and emotionally because of childhood traumas.

He also explains what impact a trauma could have on the regular emotions of a human being, such as pleasures, relationships, trust, and many more. This is one of the greatest mental guides ever published, and reading this would help the reader so far in life. One of the most deserving books to be on this list of New York Times best sellers 2024.

The Wager by David Grann

The Wager by David Grann

The Wager is yet another novel by David Grann in this list of the New York Times best seller, February 2024. As the story reads, a secret mission is being initiated, and a crew of men is sent for the accomplishment of the secret mission centuries ago.

Because of their shipwreck, these men are subjected to immunization, starvation, and nearly Death. Then, they somehow create a craft and sail for months to get invited by an actual land that yields. Once they entered the town, people started calling them superheroes who survived the anger and starvation of the ocean.

When everything seems to go in pace, another set of men come to the town and tell a whole different story about their life in the ocean and how and why they came here after all that they’ve been pushed into. The people are so consumed with these two different statements that they set up a truth check on both crews.

It seems a little kiddish, but the punishments are unapproachable. Whoever is declared guilty should be hung to Death. With that, the Mystery and suspense continues. David Grann is definitely deserving of this.

Oath and Honor by Liz Cheney

Oath and Honor by Liz Cheney

Oath and Honor: A Memoir and a Warning by Lic Cheney is a recently written nonfiction novel about one of the recently happened events. This book is about Liz Cheney and Donald Trump in politics.

Not only just them but also about everyone who attended the meetings and was busy enough to start with a powerful man like Donald Trump. It says that Trump has broken some political promises, and after several works in progress, members of Congress took steps to pull them out.

This is not just a book. It’s a true life event documentary that was written by one of the clearest points of view of the country. It’s about America and politics and a lot more than just the Final Trump story.

Conclusion

Not only these 9, but there are so many other books that have been on the list of New York Times best sellers over the years, and there are some gems out there who never got a chance to hold this title.

But trust me when I say gems. They’re actual gems that we’re hidden by time. Every book has a story, and every story has a fandom. These millions of people being fans of stories is such a boost for fellow readers to read more books and read better books.

The New York Times has always thrived in this field of books, magazines, and news. It has always been here since the beginning, and it will always be here till the end.
